Large-Scale International Mapping for Regional Planning and Navigation
GSPEA was engaged to deliver a large-scale international mapping initiative spanning twelve Muslim countries. The scope covered the full mapping lifecycle — from satellite imagery acquisition through to final vector dataset delivery — to support national planning, infrastructure development, and defense-grade navigation systems.
The project began with the acquisition of high-resolution satellite imagery across all twelve countries, followed by rigorous geometric correction, mosaicking, and orthorectification to ensure positional accuracy at the 1:50,000 mapping scale.
From this imagery base, GSPEA's technical team developed detailed topographic base maps and navigation-grade vector datasets, capturing road networks, drainage systems, elevation contours, settlements, and other critical planning features required for national-level geospatial applications.
