Project Brief
Large-Scale International Mapping for Regional Planning and Navigation
GSPEA was engaged to deliver a large-scale international mapping initiative spanning twelve Muslim countries. The scope covered the full mapping lifecycle from satellite imagery acquisition through to final vector dataset delivery to support national planning, infrastructure development, and defense-grade navigation systems.
The project began with the acquisition of high-resolution satellite imagery across all twelve countries, followed by rigorous geometric correction, mosaicking, and orthorectification to ensure positional accuracy at the 1:50,000 mapping scale.
From this imagery base, GSPEA's technical team developed detailed topographic base maps and navigation-grade vector datasets, capturing road networks, drainage systems, elevation contours, settlements, and other critical planning features required for national-level geospatial applications.

Comprehensive Geospatial Datasets Delivered at National Scale
The completed project delivered a consistent, standardized set of topographic base maps and navigation vector datasets across all twelve countries enabling national mapping agencies and planning bodies to work from a unified, accurate geospatial foundation. The datasets support applications ranging from infrastructure planning to navigation systems and national security use cases.
Precision Mapping Built for National-Scale Decision-Making
By combining high-resolution satellite imagery with rigorous quality control processes, GSPEA ensured that every deliverable met the positional accuracy and cartographic standards required for 1:50,000 scale mapping. The result is a reliable geospatial dataset that continues to support planning, navigation, and infrastructure initiatives across the region.
